Dr. Steven Frank is the Chairman of the Breakthrough Chronic Care Scientific Advisory Board. A leading cancer specialist.
“We believe Breakthrough Chronic Care’s superior disease management model for average Americans can be disruptive to the trillion-dollar chronic care industry. The cost-saving benefits can be significant. Studies show that patients with several different chronic illnesses may have higher cancer rates than the general public. We are addressing this health issue by improving the doctor-patient relationship and providing solutions to strengthen the immune system.”
Dr. Frank is an endowed tenured professor of Radiation Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Medical Director of MD Anderson’s Proton Therapy Center, and leader of both the Proton Therapy Program for head and neck cancer and the Prostate Brachytherapy Program. Dr. Frank also serves the Division as Director of Advanced Technologies in Radiation Oncology; he is amongst the first, if not the first, to use Intensity-Modulated Proton Therapy (IMPT) to treat head and neck tumors.
